Walking Expenses

Living on a fixed income, I have to track all of my expenses closely. I just figured out that in the last 6 months ,I spent a total of $1175.97 on walking related stuff . This includes fees for Racing events ( $60-$80 a pop), Clothing (everything made of microfiber costs more) , Shoes( I paid $160.00 for one pair) Gadgets ( Forerunner GPS Pedometer), Orthotics( shoe inserts, knee braces, etc)

Is walking really free? Well, I guess that depends how much time you spend doing it.. I’m lucky ..I can spend a lot of time on it. For me, walking is free …its the Bells & Whistles that cost a small fortune.. Hey , its the best investment Ive ever made.
